Susannah Davidson Pfalzer, principal of SP Editorial Services, has fourteen years of experience writing and editing for a wide range of publications. She got her start in higher-education publishing, as an editor at Simon & Schuster Custom Publishing, Allyn & Bacon, and Benjamin Cummings. She moved on to technology publishing, working as a senior editor at IDG Books Worldwide and as executive editor at Visual Studio Magazine. She's now a development editor for Pragmatic Bookshelf. She also does project management and copy editing for Apress, and writes and edits for other San Francisco Bay area businesses and publications.

Susannah recently completed her first novel, and paints acrylic portraits and landscapes on commission. She lives with her husband and daughter in San Jose, California.
